power a ps3 pro elite mini controller review

This controller can be plugged into your PC and easily be used and recognized. If you wanted to be recognized as a Xbox 360 controller, hooked up to your PC, you can find a special DLL file on the Internet for free and put the file in your game folder. This will cause games like bio shock or hard reset or Arkham Asylum to automatically detect any Xbox 360 controller. You can also use this mini pro elite controller with xpadder very well.

I can't get motion controls six axis to work on PC using this controller.

The middle PS3 button functions as a extra button that you can program with xpadder. This means you have one more button than most standard controllers. If you plug the Xbox gamepad into your PC, the middle Xbox button will not work. This is another reason I prefer to the mini pro elite controller.
If you turn the controller off without any lights in your room, you'll see that the LED lights for backlighting (will blink very faintly about every three seconds or so. This seems to be the case with both of the units that I've tried. I don't think the trains that much battery because LED lights are very low power consumption (hence all those many Bluetooth earpieces will keep a LED light on despite trying to maximize battery life).

One of my units had a left thumb stick that stopped working after two weeks. It was always recognized as being pointed downwards, even though I wasn't touching it. For this reason I returned the gamepad to target. The second unit that I purchased has blessed me for over a year now with about six hours average daily use.

None of the buttons make any sounds like clicking when pressed. Even the PS3 and Xbox controllers will make a small clicking noise. But the mini pro elite is much quieter. This is good if you're playing at night with the roommate sleeping.

The controller will automatically shut off after four minutes of non-activity. To turn it on you just press the PS3 button and it will sync up with the USB dongle in one second. This is works flawlessly over the hundreds of times I've done this.

You can turn the controller off, if you prefer to do it manually to save battery life over the auto shutdown method, by holding down the PS3 button for a few seconds. I find this is a hassle so I just let it shut off automatically. I haven't found any better way to shut down the controller quickly.

You can unplug the dongle and move it over to a new PC or laptop seamlessly if you are transitioning often between multiple computers. The USB dongle comes out very easily.

I dislike the thumb stick funds because they are very tough to press down compared to the PS3 or Xbox controllers. Granted you don't have to use these keys to press down very often for most controls in gains, it is still slight annoyance compared to the official controllers. They just don't feel as easy to
. All the other buttons are very soft and easy to press. Very comfortable

Battery life can vary from unit to unit depending on the manufacturing date and stores conditions in the warehouse. This is the case for most lithium-ion powered devices. I remember buying a Bluetooth headset that only had five hours battery life, but a second unit of the same model had 11 hours battery life. It recharges with any standard USB wall charger as well as power bank, and also plug into your computer.
